Shirley Blick Retires

My old boss, at Immanuel Junior High is going to retire. I was invited back to a surprise Chapel in her honor. I am shown with my old friends and co-workers, Ann Riddle, Karen Thomas, Suzanne West and Terri Sorensen along with Shirley Blick. Those 9 years working with Shirley were perhaps the best I have ever had!

Shirley with her husband, Dick and mother Theo. Theo is my substitute grandmother. I just love her!

Our friends Ron & Edith Thiessen helped us open the cabin this year for the summer season.
The weather was beautiful. The creeks were all running so full. It was wonderful to go to sleep with sound of a running creek. Posted by Picasa

Fishing season has begun!

Well some people will use any excuse to get to the lake.
Including the excuse of opening up the cabin for the season.
