What is that?

What sort of space age vehicle is that? That is a City of Reedley electric vehicle (truck?). AND... that is Susan who is going out to read city meters. Susan worked in the Water Dept. this summer.

August, 9th - - - Our Anniversary!!

It is hard to believe that we have been married for 3 years! It has been the most wonderful 3 years of our lives. We have done so many fun things together. In these last 3 years we have each had a granddaughter. Nicole had Evie and Patricia had Naomi. Doug got married to Jill.
We have traveled to many places in California, taken 2 cruises, fixed up our home, spent time at the cabin and at our trailer at the coast.
Tex continues to work as Water Dept. Supervisor and I am working for Kirk Hoffman, Attorney at Law. We attend Community Christian Fellowship and love it there. We have met many wonderful believers there and love worshiping there. We have made many new friends and we love having them over for a BBQ! Tex fishes every chance he can. He custom built a trailer for his canoe. I love to cook and Tex loves to eat. I still scrapbook any chance I can.
We are in process of planning a trip to the Redwoods along the coast in September. But most of all we love spending time together. We truly feel we are the luckiest people in the world.

SS PHARIS at Hume Lake

This is a picture of the famous 'SS Pharis' as our friends helped us bring it in last summer. Our friends are Maria & Miguel Cortinas and Edith & Ron Thiessen and of course Tex. Well sad to report that the SS Pharis has died. It lived a short life after being rescued from the dump. A fun 1 1/2 year of use. Our church youth were the last to use it on the church campout at Aspen Hollow in July! Burial services to be announced! Posted by Picasa

Tex in front of the famous 'Log Cabin' Posted by Picasa

I stand in the 'Log Cabin' that was on the trail. Tex has spent many a night in this log along with his horse! This he did when he rounded up cattle many years ago. Posted by Picasa

On our week at the cabin at Hume Lake, Tex took me down to Redwood Canyon to see the big trees. Truly amazing! This tree Tex is standing in is still alive. Posted by Picasa

Is this too precious! Posted by Picasa
